In October 2024, Nicaragua once again severed diplomatic ties with Israel due to the [[Israeli invasion of the Gaza Strip|Israeli war on Gaza]] and [[2024 Israeli invasion of Lebanon|Lebanon]], calling the Israeli government  "fascist" and "genocidal".<ref name="ilcut" />
