==People with physical disabilities== The [[League of the Physically Handicapped]] in New York was organized in May 1935 to end discrimination by the WPA against the physically disabled unemployed.<ref name="longmore">{{cite journal|last1=Longmore|first1=PK|author-link= Paul K.
