[[U.S. Route 6 in Connecticut|U.S. Route 6]] is the main thoroughfare in the town, leading northeast {{convert|7|mi|0}} to [[Watertown, Connecticut|Watertown]] and south {{convert|5|mi|0}} to [[Southbury, Connecticut|Southbury]]. [[Connecticut Route 64]] is a main highway leading east five miles to [[Middlebury, Connecticut|Middlebury]] and {{convert|10|mi|0}} to [[Waterbury, Connecticut|Waterbury]]. Other highways in the town include [[Connecticut Route 47|Route 47]], leading northwest to [[Washington, Connecticut|Washington]]; [[Connecticut Route 61|Route 61]], leading north from the eastern part of town to [[Bethlehem, Connecticut|Bethlehem]]; [[Connecticut Route 132|Route 132]], leading north from the center of Woodbury to Bethlehem; and [[Connecticut Route 317|Route 317]], leading west to [[Roxbury, Connecticut|Roxbury]].
