===Politics=== As of March 2011, there were a total of 15,476 registered voters in Vernon Township, of which 2,425 (15.7% vs. 16.5% countywide) were registered as [[Democratic Party (United States)|Democrats]], 5,489 (35.5% vs. 39.3%) were registered as [[Republican Party (United States)|Republicans]] and 7,538 (48.7% vs. 44.1%) were registered as [[Unaffiliated (New Jersey)|Unaffiliated]].
