For his role as [[Enoch L. Johnson|Enoch 'Nucky' Thompson]] in the critically acclaimed [[HBO]] drama series [[Boardwalk Empire]] created by [[Terrence Winter]], he received two [[Primetime Emmy Award]] nominations, three [[Golden Globe Award]] nominations, and ten [[Screen Actors Guild Award]] (SAG) nominations.
