==Frequencies for LSB and USB in amateur radio voice communication==
When single-sideband is used in amateur radio voice communications, it is common practice that for frequencies below 10&nbsp;MHz, lower sideband (LSB) is used and for frequencies of 10&nbsp;MHz and above, upper sideband (USB) is used.<ref>{{cite web|url=http://www.brats-qth.org/training/advanced/operate5.htm |title=BRATS – Advanced Amateur Radio Tuition Course |publisher=Brats-qth.org |access-date=2013-01-29}}</ref> For example, on the 40 m band, voice communications often take place around 7.100&nbsp;MHz using LSB mode. On the 20 m band at 14.200&nbsp;MHz, USB mode would be used.
