Aspac Developments Ltd purchased {{convert|7.5|ha|acre|abbr=off}} of land adjacent to the Fraser River and the finished $178 million [[Richmond Olympic Oval]]. Some construction will not begin until after 2010, and will take up to 12 years to complete. The warehouses and commercial parks near the development are also slated for redevelopment.<ref name="VS1"/>
