[[Alice Ghostley]], who portrayed bumbling witch Esmeralda on ''Bewitched'', also appeared on ''Passions'' in 2000 as the ghost of [[Matilda Matthews]], a friend and rival witch from Tabitha's past in colonial New England. Comedian [[Ruth Buzzi]] portrayed Nurse Kravitz, an eccentric nurse who discovers that the character [[Endora Lenox|Endora]] has a demon tail, in 2003.
