Nelly runs the non-profit organization 4Sho4Kids Foundation.<ref>{{Cite news|url=http://thesource.com/2013/04/29/hip-hop-charitable-nelly/|title=Hip Hop Charitable- Nelly|date=2013-04-29|work=The Source|access-date=2018-02-06}}</ref> In March 2003, he and Jackie Donahue, his sister, began the Jes Us 4 Jackie campaign, after Donahue was diagnosed with [[leukemia]]. The campaign attempts to educate [[African Americans]] and other minorities about the need for [[Hematopoietic stem cell transplantation|bone marrow transplants]]. It also tries to register more donors. In 2010, Nelly endorsed [[Do Something]]'s Tackle Hunger campaign.
