===Lines===

For MAX, a "line" refers to the physical railroad tracks and stations a train serves within its designated [[Rail terminus|termini]], i.e. a train "route" or "service". For example, the Yellow Line, which began service in 2004, originally followed the same route into downtown Portland as the Blue and Red lines.
