A U.S. Navy P-3C supporting [[Operation Odyssey Dawn]] engaged the Libyan coast guard vessel ''Vittoria'' on 28 March 2011 after the vessel and eight smaller craft fired on merchant ships in the port of [[Misrata]], Libya.
