=== Library === [[Image:1891 Littleton public library Massachusetts.png|thumb|right|Reuben Hoar public library, Littleton, 1891]] The public [[Reuben Hoar Library]] first opened in 1887.{{sfnp|Tillinghast|1899|p=201-202}}{{sfnp|Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners|2012}} In 1895, the [[Houghton Memorial Building]] was constructed, and the Reuben Hoar Library moved into it. The library, still named in honor of Reuben Hoar, moved to 41 Shattuck Street in 1991, and the Houghton Memorial Building then housed the Littleton Historical Society.
