===Polo===
Packer was a keen [[polo]] player. In 1992, he and [[Gonzalo Pieres Sr.]] founded Ellerstina, a polo team that has claimed multiple titles at the [[Campeonato Argentino Abierto de Polo|Argentine Open]] and other high-handicap tournaments. Packer bought the [[Fyning Hill]] estate in West Sussex and expanded it to over 400 acres.
