===Sliding Jail===

In March 2017, the Jerome Historical Society acquired the former jail, now known as the [[Sliding Jail]], from the Town of Jerome. Rendered unusable but not completely destroyed by earth movements since the 1930s, the structure is about {{convert|200|ft|m|-1}} downhill from where it was originally built.
