In 2008, a Hello Kitty-themed maternity hospital opened in [[Yuanlin, Changhua|Yuanlin, Taiwan]]. Hello Kitty is featured on the [[receiving blanket]]s, room decor, bed linens, birth certificate covers, and nurses' uniforms.
