==Marriage and children==
On 26 May 1521 in [[Linz]], Austria, Ferdinand married [[Anna of Bohemia and Hungary]] (1503–1547), daughter of [[Vladislaus II of Bohemia and Hungary]] and his wife [[Anne of Foix-Candale]].{{sfn|Rasmussen|2018|p=65}} They had fifteen children, all but two of whom reached adulthood:
