In [[County Clare]], [[Michael Brennan (Lieutenant-General)|Micheal Brennan]] marched with 100 Volunteers (from Meelick, Oatfield, and Cratloe) to the River Shannon on Easter Monday to await orders from the Rising leaders in Dublin, and weapons from the expected Casement shipment.
