The [[Siddi]] are an ethnic group inhabiting [[India]] and [[Pakistan]]. Members are descended from the [[Bantu peoples]] of [[Southeast Africa]]. Some were merchants, sailors, [[indentured servitude|indentured servants]], slaves or mercenaries.
