On December 17, 2020, ''[[Variety (magazine)|Variety]]'' reported a primetime revival of ''All My Children'' was in early development at ABC, under the executive production of [[Mark Consuelos]] and [[Kelly Ripa]]. Leo Richardson—who previously worked on British soap opera ''[[EastEnders]]''—is also attached as executive producer and writer of the project.
