Scranton placed sixth in ''[[U.S. News & World Report]]''{{'}}s 2021 rankings of the "Best Regional Universities North".<ref name=USNWR>{{cite web |url=https://www.usnews.com/best-colleges/university-of-scranton-3384/overall-rankings |title=University of Scranton Rankings |magazine=U.S. News & World Report |access-date=September 30, 2020}}</ref> It was also rated tied for 14th out of 38 in "Best Undergraduate Teaching" and 40th out of 73 in "Best Value Schools".<ref name=USNWR/>
