===Ansel Adams===
[[Ansel Easton Adams]] (1902–1984) was a photographer, best known for his black-and-white photographs of the American West. In 1930, Taos Pueblo, Adams's second portfolio, was published. In New Mexico, he was introduced to notables from [[Alfred Stieglitz]]'s circle, including painter [[Georgia O'Keeffe]], artist [[John Marin]], and photographer [[Paul Strand]], all of whom created famous works during their stays in the Southwest.{{sfnp|Alinder|Stillman|Adams|Stegner|1988|pp=73-74}}
