[[New Jersey Route 36]] is the main highway through Sea Bright. To the south, it connects the borough to Monmouth Beach. Heading north, it crosses [[Shrewsbury River]] to [[Highlands, New Jersey|Highlands]] across the [[Highlands–Sea Bright Bridge]], a fixed span which was built between 2008 and 2011 to replace a {{convert|1240|ft|adj=on}} [[drawbridge]] built in 1932. Sea Bright can also be accessed from [[Rumson, New Jersey|Rumson]] to the west via Rumson Road ([[County Route 520 (New Jersey)|County Route 520]]) over the Shrewsbury River Bridge.
