Morehead also has the [[Craft Academy for Excellence in Science and Mathematics]], an [[early entrance to college]] program for academically gifted high school juniors and seniors at Morehead State, that allows the students to take college credits while finishing high school.

Additionally, there are two institutions for higher education situated in the city.
