==Education== [[McDowell County Schools]] operates the county's public K-12 education system of 7 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, and 2 public high schools in McDowell County, which are [[Mount View High School (West Virginia)|Mount View High School]] and [[River View High School (West Virginia)|River View High School]].
