There are 27 [[Christianity|Christian]] churches in Hays, the majority of which are [[Protestant]]. That number also includes four [[Catholic Church|Catholic]] churches,  a [[Jehovah's Witnesses]] congregation, and a meetinghouse of [[the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints]].
