The [[Eastern Orthodox]] and [[Eastern Catholic Churches]] commemorate Gregory of Nyssa on 10 January. Roman Catholics following editions of the [[Roman Martyrology]] published prior to the [[Second Vatican Council]] along with the [[Calendar of saints (Episcopal Church)|Episcopal Church]]<ref name="lff2018" /> commemorate his death on 9 March.
