===Israel Advocacy === Following the October 7 Hamas-led attack on Israel, Anderson, (along with Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Amy Poehler, LL Cool J, Steven Bartlett (businessman), Scott Galloway (professor), and tech giants Google, Meta Platforms and Intel, Amazon (company), Siemens and Stripe, Inc., pulled out of annual technology conference Web Summit following tweets by its CEO Paddy Cosgrave. Cosgrave tweeted that Israel was guilty of “war crimes” in Gaza, in response to Israel's military actions in Gaza, in the aftermath of October 7. Anderson had been due to speak at the event, to promote her soft drink brand, G Spot, but said "the brands’ values do not align”. She later clarified her position, saying “we must speak up to demand the protection of all innocent civilian lives and we must speak out against terrorism." Cosgrave resigned his position as CEO following the backlash.
