===Politics=== As of March 2011, there were a total of 5,033 registered voters in Fanwood, of which 1,614 (32.1% vs. 41.8% countywide) were registered as [[Democratic Party (United States)|Democrats]], 1,210 (24.0% vs. 15.3%) were registered as [[Republican Party (United States)|Republicans]] and 2,205 (43.8% vs. 42.9%) were registered as [[Unaffiliated (New Jersey)|Unaffiliated]].
