== Foreign investment ==
There are few restrictions on foreign investment, barring [[Israel]]i citizens and entities. There are no country-wide U.S. trade sanctions against Lebanon, although [[Hezbollah]] and individuals associated with it have been targeted by the American government. According to a report by ''[[The Wall Street Journal]]'', "Lebanon has one of the world's highest public debt-to-gross domestic product ratios, rising to over 150% as it takes on more debt to plug budget holes."
