===2000s=== The storylines originally dealt with the lives of staff and patients at the fictional Riverside Health Centre as well as its secondary location, the Best Practice. During the early years, many storylines revolved around the lead character of Mac and his family life. Also in 2006, [[Faith Walker]] ([[Eva Fontaine]]) is diagnosed with [[retinitis pigmentosa]], and since it would result in the loss of her eyesight, she hands her job over to [[Michelle Corrigan]] ([[Donnaleigh Bailey]]).
