Several dialects of [[Persian language|Persian]] (Central Asian dialects of [[Persian language|Persian]]) are spoken in Tajikistan and it is one of the two official languages of Tajikistan (officially referred to as [[Tajik language|Tajik]]).<ref>''Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan'', November 6, 1994, Article 2.</ref> [[Russian language|Russian]] is the official interethnic language and is widely used in both government and business.
