Y-Chromosome DNA [[Y-DNA]] represents the male lineage, the Iranian [[Y-chromosome]] pool is as follows where haplogroups, [[Haplogroup R1 (Y-DNA)|R1]] (25%), [[Haplogroup J-M172 (Y-DNA)|J2]] (23%) [[Haplogroup G (Y-DNA)|G]] (14%), [[Haplogroup J-M267 (Y-DNA)|J1]] (8%) [[Haplogroup E1b1b (Y-DNA)|E1b1b]] (5%), [[Haplogroup L (Y-DNA)|L]] (4%),
