In the standalone film ''[[Rogue One]]'' (2016), set immediately before the events of ''A New Hope'', Vader summons the weapons developer [[Orson Krennic]] to his castle on Mustafar. He confronts him about his handling of the Death Star project and the destruction of Jedha City.
