===Practice Safe Sun===
In the May 2006 issue of ''Cosmopolitan'', the magazine launched the Practice Safe Sun campaign, an initiative aimed at fighting [[skin cancer]] by asking readers to stop all forms of [[Sun tanning|tanning]] other than [[Sunless tanning|tanning from a bottle]].<ref name="allbusiness.com">[http://www.allbusiness.com/services/business-services-miscellaneous-business/4775142-1.html "Cosmo to Promote 'Safe Skin{{'"}}].
