===Avebury Manor===
[[Avebury Manor and Garden]] is a National Trust property in the village, near the church, consisting of the [[manor house]] and its garden. The house was begun c.1557 by [[William Dunch (1508–1597)|William Dunch]], extended in 1601 and partly rebuilt c.1907; it is Grade I listed.<ref>{{National Heritage List for England|num=1033785|desc=Avebury Manor|access-date=5 August 2021|fewer-links=yes}}</ref> Since 1938 its 18th-century stables have housed a museum, now the [[Alexander Keiller Museum]].<ref>{{National Heritage List for England|num=1365961|desc=Alexander Keiller Museum|access-date=5 August 2021|fewer-links=yes}}</ref> A well-preserved 16th-century circular [[dovecote]] in the grounds is Grade II* listed.<ref>{{National Heritage List for England|num=1286437|desc=Dovecote at Avebury Manor|access-date=5 August 2021|fewer-links=yes}}</ref>
