==SNA over Token-Ring== VTAM/NCP PU4 nodes attached to IBM [[Token Ring]] networks can share the same Local Area Network infrastructure with workstations and servers. NCP encapsulates SNA packets into Token-Ring frames, allowing sessions to flow over a Token-Ring network. The actual encapsulation and decapsulation takes place in the 3745.
