Stanwood has one [[weekly newspaper]], the ''[[Stanwood Camano News]]'', which originated in 1903 as the ''Stanwood Tidings'' and later ran under the name of the ''Twin City News''.<ref>{{cite news |date=April 25, 1964 |title=George B. Stanwood's [[public library]] is operated by the countywide [[Sno-Isle Libraries]] system and is housed in a {{convert|5,400|sqft|sqm|adj=mid}} building.
