Around Selinus some areas used as necropoleis can be identified.
*'''Buffa''' (end of the seventh century BC and the sixth century): north of the East Hill. The site contains a triangular votive ditch (25 x 18 x 32 metres) with terracotta, vases and animal remains (probably from sacrifices).<ref name= Nota2 />
* '''Galera Bagliazzo''' (sixth century BC): northeast of Mannuzza Hill. In the tombs dug into the tufa here, none apparently singular, are grave goods of various styles. Given its distance from the city centre it is not clear whether it was the necropolis of the city or of a suburban area. As well as evidence of inhumations, there are [[amphora]]e and [[pithos|pithoi]] which testify to the practice of cremation. The sarcophagi are in terracotta or tufa.
