==Accidents==

*On 19 September 2015, [[London & North Eastern Railway]] [[LNER Class B12|Class B12]] [[4-6-0]] No. 8572, running [[light engine]], collided with the buffers at the Holt terminus of the line.  The buffers were partially demolished, and the fire service attended.  The fireman was slightly injured and was checked over in hospital.

*On 17 November 2018, [[Great Eastern Railway]] [[GER Class Y14|Class Y14]] [[0-6-0]] locomotive 564 was in collision with a car on the level crossing accessing Sheringham golf course, while travelling at about 10&nbsp;mph. The car was badly damaged, but nobody was hurt and the train and rail infrastructure was not damaged.
