===Par-3 contest=== {{Main|Masters Tournament Par-3 contest}} [[File:The Masters.jpg|thumb|The 9th hole on the par 3 course]] The Par-3 contest was first introduced in 1960, and was won that year by Snead. Since then it has traditionally been played on the Wednesday before the tournament starts. The par 3 course was built in 1958.
