[[Romtelecom]] (owned by the Greek company OTE and the Romanian state) is the dominant fixed line provider (around 80% of the market share) and the only [[Plain old telephone service|POTS]] provider. Other providers are [[RCS&RDS]] and [[UPC Romania]].
