==Incidents and accidents== * On 4 December 1974, [[Martinair Flight 138]], a [[Douglas DC-8]], operating on behalf of [[Garuda Indonesian Airways]] (present day Garuda Indonesia), flew into the side of a mountain while on landing approach in [[Colombo]], [[Sri Lanka]].
