==Kingdom of Saxony==
The [[Holy Roman Empire]] came to an end in 1806. The [[Prince-elector|Elector]] of Saxony, allied to [[Napoleon]], anticipated its [[Dissolution of the Holy Roman Empire|dissolution]] by becoming the ruler of an independent [[Kingdom of Saxony]] in 1806.
