===Climate===
King's Lynn has a [[temperate]] [[oceanic climate]] ([[Köppen climate classification|Köppen]]: Cfb). The annual mean daytime temperature is around {{convert|14|°C|°F|0|lk=on}}. January is the coldest month with mean minimum temperatures between {{convert|0|to|1|°C|°F|1}}. There are two [[Met Office]] weather stations close to King's Lynn: Terrington St Clement, about {{convert|4|mi|0|abbr=out}} to the west and RAF Marham, about {{convert|10|mi|0|abbr=out}} to the south-east.

Typically all these figures are marginally lower than those for the southern half of the Fens due to the presence of onshore sea breezes, and occasional [[haar (fog)|haar]] (cold sea fog), especially in early summer and late spring. However, with a strong enough offshore breeze, the area can be notably warm.
