In February 2022, Curtis was announced to have co-written a graphic novel, ''[[Mother Nature (comic book)|Mother Nature]],'' which is based on an upcoming [[List of eco-horror films|eco-horror]] film made by Comet Pictures and [[Blumhouse Productions]] that will be written and directed by Curtis. In 1987, Curtis filed a US patent application that subsequently issued as Patent No. 4,753,647.
