==Personal life== Valenti married Mary Margaret Wiley who served on the staff of President [[Lyndon B. Johnson]]. They had three children: John, Alexandra, and Courtenay Valenti, who became a [[Warner Bros.]] studio executive. He died just before their forty-fifth wedding anniversary.
