[[U.S. Route 9 in Delaware|US 9]] runs southwest–northeast through Georgetown on Market Street, heading southwest to [[Laurel, Delaware|Laurel]] and northeast to [[Lewes, Delaware|Lewes]] and the [[Cape May–Lewes Ferry]] across the [[Delaware Bay]]. [[Delaware Route 18|DE 18]] begins at US 9 at The Circle in the center of Georgetown and heads northwest on Bedford Street before heading west toward [[Bridgeville, Delaware|Bridgeville]]. [[Delaware Route 404|DE 404]] passes through Georgetown as part of a route linking the [[Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan Area]] and the [[Chesapeake Bay Bridge]] to the [[Delaware Beaches]], entering town from the west [[concurrency (road)|concurrent]] with DE 18 to The Circle, where it joins US 9 and heads northeast along with that route toward the beaches.
