It embraces the parishes of Rinn Ua gCuanach (Ring) and An Sean Phobal (Old Parish). All education in Gaeltacht na nDéise is carried out through the medium of Irish. There are two Pre-schools, two Primary level national schools, one Secondary School, Meánscoil San Nioclás and Coláiste na Rinne, a private boarding school and summer college.
