Bolivia and Australia work together on a wide variety of issues. Relations are good between the two countries. There is investment in mining services and technology, although trade is still quite small. Bolivia and Australia are part of the [[Cairns Group]]. In 2002, Australia's [[Deputy Prime Minister of Australia|Deputy Prime Minister]], [[Mark Vaile]] visited Santa Cruz for the Cairns Group meeting.
