After this controversy, in April 2022 the [[Council of Ministers (Spain)|Council of Ministers]] approved a Royal Decree elaborated by the [[Royal Household of Spain|Royal Household]] that puts the King's house completely under the 2013 Transparency Act and the 2015 Senior Officials Act. On 25 April 2022, in a move towards greater transparency, Felipe VI made public his personal assets for the first time, revealing them to be valued at 2.6 million [[euro]]s ([[US$]]2.8 million).
